Massachusetts Military Support Foundation is sponsoring a Fishing4Vets Striped Bass Tournament for U.S. Veterans, Active Duty and Reservists for a wonderful day of competition and camaraderie on Cape Cod Bay. Prizes will be awarded at a Post-Tournament Reception which will be held at the Hyannis Golf Club where all participants and other guests will come together to brag about “the one that got away.”
This fishing tournament will be led by the Captains of the participating vessels. Registration is required. There are 50 spots available, so make sure you reserve your spot!
MMSF thanks the captains of the following Charter Boats for donating their time and expertise, and their boats, to lead veteran teams in the 4th Annual Fishing4Vets Striped Bass Tournament: Reel Grit, Grey Dolphin, Janine B, Tigger Too, Prime Rate, Wales Tales, Salt Shaker, Sea Dog and First Light. We appreciate and are grateful for your generosity.
There will be a simultaneous launch from Sesuit Harbor.
Schedule of Events:
- 11:30am - Start registration; Distribute lunches
- 12:15pm - Opening remarks
- 12:30pm - Board boats
- 1:00pm - Boats depart from Sesuit Harbor
- 5:00pm - Boats return and dock at Sesuit Harbor
- 6:00pm - Tournament Awards Reception at Hyannis Golf Club (spouses/significant others welcome)
Prizes will be awarded to:
- Participants with the Biggest Striped Bass catch on each boat (9 winners, one from each boat)
- Captain of the boat with the overall Biggest Striped Bass catch
- Participant with the most catches (any fish)
- Captain of the boat with the most catches (any fish)
